Lugana is the most famous wine of Cantina Avanzi, a real guarantee; it is produced with grapes from a single vine belonging to the Bragagna estate.
The harvest takes place during the last ten days of September; the grapes are carefully selected during the harvest, then cooled and gently pressed; subsequently the cold static decantation takes place. Only after cold fermentation, the first racking is carried out and the wine is left in contact with the noble lees for 6/8 months in stainless steel tanks. Once bottled, it is left to mature for at least 2 months in the bottle before being put on the market.
An elegant bouquet conquers the sense of smell by diffusing a very tasty floral and fruity note that evokes the aromas of peach and white flowers, turning towards a sweet memory of fresh pastries on the finish. In the glass it has a pale straw yellow color, while it offers the palate a rich and refined sip that makes its entrance with decision, presenting a sapid and mineral flavor.
The taste at first impact tends to be exotic, evolving towards notes of candied and ripe fruit; a sip that lingers in the mouth for a long time, which leaves room on the finish for soft acidic and enveloping notes that entice you to sip.
Exceptional to combine with first courses seasoned with vegetables and delicate fish, as well as being a sublime glass to be savored with raw ham.
