The Meursault Premier Cru Genevrières Dessous AOC produced by Benjamin Leroux is a prestigious white wine that captures the essence of Burgundy. This wine comes from one of the most renowned plots in Meursault, characterized by a clay-limestone soil that gives the wine exceptional complexity and pronounced minerality.

Benjamin Leroux, known for his meticulous and environmentally respectful winemaking philosophy, utilizes production methods that aim to enhance the true character of the terroir. The Meursault Premier Cru Genevrières Dessous is fermented and matured in barriques, with a moderate percentage of new wood, to not overpower the fresh vibrancy of the fruit.

Visually, the wine presents a bright, inviting golden yellow color. On the nose, it features notes of white-fleshed fruits such as peach and pear, enriched with hints of vanilla and toasted almond, typical of wood aging. The first sip reveals a balanced structure, with a lively acidity that intertwines perfectly with the richness of the fruit and a long aromatic persistence that revisits the mineral and ripe fruit notes.

This wine is ideal for pairing with refined fish dishes, such as a tuna tartare or a baked sea bass fillet, but it is also perfect for enhancing a dinner based on poultry or creamy cheeses. Its elegance and complexity make it an excellent candidate for aging, allowing one to appreciate its evolution over time.

Those who choose to add Benjamin Leroux’s Meursault Premier Cru Genevrières Dessous to their e-commerce cart can be sure of enjoying a wine that represents one of the most pure and harmonious expressions of Burgundy.
