The Gevrey-Chambertin Premier Cru "Combe Aux Moines" by Domaines Faiveley represents one of the highest expressions of Pinot Noir in the prestigious wine region of Burgundy, France. This wine comes from a specific Premier Cru vineyard, known for its ideal location and unique soil, which allows it to produce wines of exceptional depth and complexity.

Domaines Faiveley, one of Burgundy's most respected and historic wineries, is committed to cultivating vineyards with sustainable practices, aiming to convey the most authentic expression of terroir in every bottle. The "Combe Aux Moines", located in Gevrey-Chambertin, benefits from optimal climatic conditions and a calcareous-clay soil, which give the wine its characteristic structure and minerality.

Faiveley's winemaking philosophy places great emphasis on balance and elegance, with delicate fermentation and aging in French oak barriques. This process not only helps to develop the aromatic and gustatory complexity of the wine, but also to integrate the tannins, making them fine and velvety.

Visually, the Gevrey-Chambertin "Combe Aux Moines" stands out with its deep and inviting ruby red color. On the nose, the wine offers a wide range of aromas, ranging from ripe red fruits, such as cherries and raspberries, to floral and spicy notes, with a hint of vanilla and toasting due to the elegant passage in wood.

In the mouth, this Premier Cru expresses extraordinary complexity and depth, with a well-balanced tannic structure that supports a rich palette of flavours. The acidity is well integrated, giving freshness and liveliness to the wine, which develops into a long and persistent finish, characterized by a beautiful minerality and earthy notes typical of Gevrey-Chambertin wines.

Ideal as an accompaniment to rich and tasty dishes, such as grilled red meats, game dishes and mature cheeses, "Combe Aux Moines" is also a meditation wine, capable of evolving and improving with aging in the cellar.

The Gevrey-Chambertin Premier Cru "Combe Aux Moines" by Domaines Faiveley is a tribute to the excellence of Pinot Noir in Burgundy, offering an unforgettable tasting experience that reflects the passion, tradition and innovation of one of the most emblematic wineries in the region.
