I'm sorry, but I do not have updated information at this time and cannot research or confirm specific details about wines or products that may not be widely known or that may have been released in limited or special editions, such as the "Baron of 2012 Collection - Baron De Ladouchette". However, I can offer some general considerations that typically apply to high-quality wines produced in particular vintages and marketed as part of exclusive collections.

Wines labeled with specific references to collections or vintages, such as the "Baron of 2012", are often created to celebrate an exceptional vintage or to reflect the best characteristics of that particular year. These wines may be produced in limited quantities and intended for collectors or wine enthusiasts who appreciate quality and uniqueness.

The mention of "Baron De Ladouchette" suggests a brand or producer that may be known for producing high quality wines, although I specifically do not have detailed information on this producer. In the context of quality wines, a label that references a specific collection or vintage tends to indicate a level of care and attention in the selection of grapes, winemaking and aging of the wine.

2012 vintage wines from renowned wine regions around the world can vary significantly in their characteristics depending on that year's climate and growing conditions, as well as the winemaking practices adopted by the producer. In general, a wine designated as part of a special collection is often representative of the best the producer has to offer, with high expectations for complexity, depth of flavors, structure and aging potential.

For collectors and enthusiasts, purchasing or tasting a wine like the "Baron del 2012 Collection" can offer a unique experience and the chance to appreciate the distinctive nuances that make that vintage and that producer particularly noteworthy .

Estate size: approximately 165 hectares of vineyards. Wines available and distributed internationally, with reviews in wine publications.
Winery history
The company's roots date back to the Comte Lafond family, who at the end of the 18th century acquired the vineyards of Château du Nozet in Pouilly. The estate is now owned by the de Ladoucette family, and under the leadership of Baron Patrick de Ladoucette it has expanded to include vineyards and labels in the Sancerre area. The cuvée "Baron de L" was created as the estate's most extreme expression of Sauvignon and is produced only in years considered the best.
Production philosophy
Strong focus on the value of the terroir and on parcel-by-parcel selection; winemaking practices are tailored to individual grapes to enhance the typicity and finesse of the Sauvignon, with the aim of producing bottles of high quality and territorial expression.
Terroir and vineyards
Headquartered at Château du Nozet, Pouilly-sur-Loire, in the Pouilly-Fumé appellation. The production area also extends into nearby parts of the Loire and includes vineyards used for Sancerre and other labels of the group.
Awards and recognitions
Repeatedly cited and positively rated by international critics; examples: Wine Spectator scores for individual vintages.
