The Soave Classico "Monte Fiorentine" DOC - MAGNUM from Cà Rugate winery is an excellent example of how elegance and structure can harmoniously blend in a white wine. This enchanting expression of the Veneto territory is produced with Garganega grapes, grown on the volcanic slopes of the classic area of Soave, a region notably privileged for this grape variety.

The MAGNUM bottle, double the standard size, is not only impressive to the eye but also contributes to a better evolution of the wine over time, allowing it to develop even greater complexity. In the glass, "Monte Fiorentine" presents a bright straw yellow color, promising freshness and vitality.

On the nose, the Soave Classico "Monte Fiorentine" offers a delicate yet complex bouquet, where floral notes of chamomile and acacia emerge, enriched by nuances of white-fleshed fruit such as peach and light accents of fresh almond. The minerality is evident, typical of the volcanic origin of its terroir, adding a vibrant touch to the aromatic profile.

On the palate, the wine is balanced and harmonious; the well-integrated acidity brings freshness and supports a persistent fruity flavor, culminating in a clean and pleasantly almond-like finish. This Soave Classico is ideal for accompanying flavorful fish dishes, light appetizers, or as a refined aperitif.

With its recognizable style and consistent quality, the Soave Classico "Monte Fiorentine" MAGNUM from Cà Rugate represents a classy choice for those looking to enjoy an authentic and high-quality Veneto white wine.

Winery history
The Tessari family has been cultivating vineyards in the area for over a century; the Ca' Rugate label first appeared on bottles in 1986. In 2001 Michele Tessari, the fourth generation of the family, launched a project to reorganize the estate and expand the vineyards, and the new winery in Montecchia di Crosara was inaugurated in 2002. Over the years the estate has developed wine‑tourism activities and created a wine museum to tell the family's agricultural history.
Production philosophy
Quality that begins in the vineyard is a priority: sustainable management and low-impact practices to enhance native varieties and the expression of the terroir. Since 2004 the estate has adopted more sustainable agronomic methods and demonstrates a commitment to traceability and preserving the local character. Since 2013 it has been part of Indipendenti del Soave.
Terroir and vineyards
The vineyards are situated on the hills of Val d'Alpone and on land well suited to Soave Classico, Valpolicella and Lessini Durello. The soils have a volcanic and calcareous‑basaltic composition typical of the Soave area; some parcels lie on ridges and terraces with steep slopes and average elevations of around 400–450 meters above sea level.
Awards and recognitions
Numerous national and international awards, including several 'Tre Bicchieri' from the Gambero Rosso guide for the winery's wines, and medals/recognitions at international competitions also dedicated to mountain and heroic wines.
