The Garda DOC Monte della Guardia Rosato by Ca' Lojera is a prestigious and refined example of how the terroir of Lake Garda can be expressed through rosé winemaking. This rosé wine is primarily made from Groppello grapes, typically grown on the Brescia shores of the lake, with the addition of small percentages of Marzemino, Sangiovese, and Barbera which contribute to its distinctive aromatic complexity.

Visually, the Garda DOC Rosato showcases a bright and luminous pink color that suggests freshness and liveliness. On the nose, it offers a delicate yet persistent bouquet, with nuances of fresh red fruits like strawberries and raspberries, enriched by a slight floral note of freshly blossomed roses and a touch of sweet spices.

On the palate, the structure is elegant and well-balanced. The acidity is lively yet not overpowering, supporting the richness of the fruit well and leading to a pleasantly long and refreshing finish. The personality of this Rosato is also defined by a subtle minerality, typical of the morainic soil of Garda, which adds an additional dimension of pleasurableness to the sip.

Perfect to serve at a temperature of 8-10°C, the Garda DOC Monte della Guardia Rosato is ideal as an aperitif to stimulate the appetite, but it also shows its versatility in pairing with light dishes, such as seafood salads, dishes based on delicate fish, or even as a contrast to slightly spicy dishes. Its freshness also makes it an ideal companion for the warm days of summer.

Highly recommended for those who wish to discover the finesse of lakeside rosé in a version that speaks of the care and tradition of Ca’ Lojera, a genuine expression of the Garda territory.
