The Cabernet Sauvignon Riserva Alto Adige DOC by Alois Lageder is an elegant expression of an international grape variety interpreted in the heart of the Dolomites. Grown on the mountain vineyards of Alto Adige, this wine is made from selected grapes that benefit from a cool climate and a calcareous-clay soil, distinctive elements that give structure and finesse to the final product.

The aging method, which involves a long passage in oak barrels, enriches the wine with spicy and vanilla notes, while the bouquet features aromas of ripe red fruits intertwined with delicate herbaceous hints typical of Cabernet Sauvignon. On the palate, it stands out for a harmonious balance between softness and smooth tannins, with a persistent and intriguing finish.

Ideal to pair with grilled red meats, game, and aged cheeses, this wine tells the richness of the Alto Adige territory with a modern and refined approach.

Winery history

Terroir and vineyards
Vineyards distributed across the Alto Adige region, with sites in Magrè and areas around Cortaccia, Termeno and Caldaro. The vines are planted on diverse soils and span an altitude range of approximately 200 to 1,000 metres above sea level.
