The Pinot Nero Alto Adige DOC Mimuet by Alois Lageder is an elegant and refined wine, an authentic expression of the unique Alto Adige territory, where the cool climate and mineral-rich soils confer depth and freshness to the grape variety. Made from selected Pinot Nero grapes, this wine enchants with its bright ruby color and intense aromas of small red fruits, delicate spicy hints, and a subtle earthy aroma that enhances its complexity.

On the palate, it stands out for its harmonious structure, velvety tannins, and a pleasant persistence that recalls ripe cherries and light notes of white pepper. The aging, carefully carried out by Alois Lageder, enhances freshness and balance, making Mimuet ideal to accompany light game dishes, white meats, and soft cheese. A wine that conveys the feeling of a unique territory and the passion of its winery.

Winery history

Production philosophy
The winery practices biodynamic farming as a central approach: care for biodiversity, integration of livestock and horticulture, use of biodynamic preparations and reduced cellar interventions. Over the years it has also pursued sustainability measures across the supply chain.
Terroir and vineyards
Vineyards distributed across the Alto Adige region, with sites in Magrè and areas around Cortaccia, Termeno and Caldaro. The vines are planted on diverse soils and span an altitude range of approximately 200 to 1,000 metres above sea level.
