The Santo Stefano Pecorino Terre Di Chieti DOC 2022 is a finely crafted white wine produced by the Mucci winery, located in the fertile region of Abruzzo. This wine is made entirely from Pecorino grapes, an indigenous variety that has garnered significant interest in recent years due to its ability to best express the characteristics of the local terroir.

The Santo Stefano offers an intensely aromatic bouquet, with lively notes of white flowers, citrus, and a subtle mineral trace. The tasting reveals a well-balanced structure, with a surprising freshness that harmonizes perfectly with a medium body and a persistent sensation of fresh fruit. The acidity is well-present but never invasive, contributing to a clean and invigorating finish.

This Pecorino is ideal for pairing with fish dishes, light appetizers, and fresh cheeses. Its vivacity also makes it an excellent aperitif, capable of tantalizing the palate and preparing it well for the dishes to follow. A wine that exalts the winemaking tradition of Abruzzo, interpreting the potential of its grapes with modernity.
