The Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi DOC "Baccaloro" produced by the Libenzi winery represents a refined and authentic expression of the Verdicchio grape variety, cultivated in the picturesque hills of the Marche region. This white wine enchants with its perfect balance between acidity and structure, the result of meticulous grape selection and a careful winemaking process.

To the eye, "Baccaloro" Verdicchio presents a bright straw yellow color, enriched by greenish hues that highlight its freshness. On the nose, it offers a complex aromatic bouquet where notes of white flowers, green apple, peach, and subtle almond nuances, typical of the Verdicchio variety, intertwine.

On the palate, the wine reveals itself as elegant and full, with a lively acidity that balances its consistency. Fresh fruit flavors blend with a slight minerality, creating a persistent taste that invites another sip. The finish, long and pleasantly almond-like, leaves a clean and refreshing sensation.

The Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi "Baccaloro" is ideal as an aperitif or paired with fish dishes, seafood, and fresh cheeses. It strengthens the bond with the territory by offering a sensory experience that speaks of the Marche, a region with a rich winemaking tradition.

Served chilled, at about 8-10°C, this Verdicchio proves to be a versatile and surprising companion for various moments of consumption, from informal dining to more demanding tables. A true gem to be discovered for lovers of characterful Italian white wines.
