Domaines Faiveley's Latricieres Chambertin Grand Cru is a sublime expression of Burgundy, capturing the essence of its terroir with extraordinary precision and depth. This wine, coming from one of the most prestigious Grand Cru denominations, is the result of careful winemaking and a philosophy that places respect for the land and the grapes at the centre.

Grown in a vineyard that benefits from ideal climatic and geological conditions, Latricieres Chambertin stands out for its aromatic complexity and structural elegance. The limestone-rich soil and optimal exposure give this wine a distinct minerality, while the age of the vines guarantees a concentration of flavors that only old vines can offer.

On the nose, Latricieres Chambertin Grand Cru reveals a rich bouquet, with notes of ripe red fruits, fine spices and a subtle touch of wet earth, typical of great Burgundy wines. These aromas are intertwined with nuances of cedar wood and vanilla, the result of refined maturation in French oak barriques.

On the palate, the wine presents itself with a velvety texture and well-integrated tannins, which lead to a long and persistent finish. The balance between lively acidity and fruit richness is impeccable, offering a complex and layered tasting experience.

The Latricieres Chambertin Grand Cru by Domaines Faiveley is a wine that promises great longevity, capable of evolving and improving over the years in the cellar. It is a work of winemaking art that reflects the dedication and craftsmanship of the Faiveley family in creating wines of exceptional quality and character.

Ideal as an accompaniment to refined dishes such as herb-crusted beef fillet or game, this wine proves to be a perfect companion for special occasions, capable of elevating every meal to a memorable experience.

Winery history
The estate has been part of the Faiveley family since its origins: the original holdings were established in the 19th century in Nuits‑Saint‑Georges and the family progressively acquired parcels in Burgundy’s finest climats. Over the generations the domaine expanded its holdings by adding Premier Cru and Grand Cru vineyards and has maintained a dual role as both a domaine producer and a négociant. Today Erwan and Eve Faiveley lead the estate; in recent years the group has also extended its geographic presence and has begun transitioning to more environmentally friendly practices.
Production philosophy
Highlighting the terroir and the identity of the individual climats, the family adopts an approach focused on fruit quality, agronomic practices increasingly aimed at sustainability, and the use of technologies and experimentation to reduce environmental impact while preserving the character and expressiveness of the wines.
Terroir and vineyards
Vineyards are primarily located in the Côte de Nuits, Côte de Beaune and Côte Chalonnaise, with holdings in Chablis. It owns parcels in numerous Grand Cru and Premier Cru sites and several historic monopoles. It also holds minority interests connected to Pinot Noir production in California.
