Cellar Cecchi Luigi and Sons
In 1893 the Cecchi winery was born in the Chianti area, founded by Luigi Cecchi, who with a lot of enthusiasm and a great entrepreneurial ability, gave life to a brand of excellence known nationally and internationally.
Over time the company has studied new vines, combining innovation with tradition, reaching as far as San Giminiano and in Umbria in the Montefalco area. Today, the children are running the winery, it was the latter who started a major expansion through the purchase of five estates, and inheriting the precious production experience based on sustainability and local tradition.
The production includes wines that fully express the territory of origin with Sangiovese vines, and also international varieties such as Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon.
The headquarters are located in Castellina, in Chianti, and the vineyards are located in the most suitable areas of Tuscany, with an important production of the region's symbolic wines such as Chianti Classico DOCG, Vino Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG, Brunello di Montalcino DOCG and Morellino di Scansano DOCG.
