Firriato Winery

Cantina Firriato was founded in Paceto (TP), in the mid-1980s by the passion of Salvatore Di Gaetano and his wife Vinzia Novara. From the beginning their production is wisely followed, and is based on the continuous search for quality. The perfect harmony between passion and quality, in a few years, makes Firriato one of the symbols of Sicily, contributing with excellence to the well-deserved boom of Sicilian wine, now well known and appreciated all over the world.

Sicily is a splendid land with immense winemaking potential, with extraordinary climates and soils, which are fully reflected in their wines. One of the best known and most appreciated Sicilian wines is Nero D'Avola. The company produces Harmonium, a Nero D'Avola awarded with very important awards; another label of great value that gives immense satisfaction to the patron Di Gaetano, is Etna Rosso produced with grapes from Sicilian native Nerello vines. Cantina Firriato produces many other excellent wines by assembling native vines of Nerello Mascalese, Nerello Cappuccino and Frappato, with international vines.

In the variegated world of Sicilian wine we also find excellent whites: Catarratto and Grillo, without forgetting the interesting variant of Ansonica. Firriato wines will guide you to discover all the poetry and tradition of Sicily, a wonderful land that strikes the heart, of inestimable beauty and ancient centuries-old cultures.
