So writes Celeste, daughter of Claudia and Bruno Dotti, summarizing the philosophy of the company founded in 1992 in Erbusco in the heart of Franciacorta (Lombardy).

The passion for the land, wine and agriculture has been transformed into love for a new activity, in which the whole family has dedicated itself with passion.

The winery was born on a moraine hill, with a calcareous soil rich in minerals but also in history, the vineyards extend over 10 hectares with Chardonnay and Pinot Noir vines.

The estate enjoys a particular microclimate thanks to the proximity of Lake Iseo and Monte Orfano, sun exposure and thermal incursion are important factors that determine the excellent quality of the wines. The company produces exclusively Franciacorta and the first brut dates back to 1996, in 2004 the vintage wines were introduced, and in 2016 the first labels of the unique San Cristoforo wines were born.

The family opts for a careful and reasoned agricultural style, and makes use of competent and attentive collaborators who pour all their love for the territory into their work. The production includes small batches of base wines in steel, but also in old barriques, reducing dosages to a minimum and favoring Chardonnay, trying to enhance the quality of the grapes and the vintages to the maximum.

The Franciacorta San Cristoforo are sparkling wines that are not very elaborate but of great quality and expression, with a great decisive character. With slightly smoky and very savory hints, they are complex with great freshness and minerality, with a clean and complex style.
