Winery history Arunda

Arunda was established as a producer exclusively of sparkling wines: founded by Josef Reiterer in 1979 in Meltina, the winery has distinguished itself for its production using the Traditional Method and for developing its activity in a mountainous setting, emphasizing extended lees aging and cuvées tied to the South Tyrol.

Production philosophy

The approach is based on the artisanal production of sparkling wines using the Traditional Method, with a focus on patience, long cellar maturation and the selection of base wines from different areas of South Tyrol to achieve balanced, expressive cuvées.

Terroir and vineyards

The winery is located on the Tschögglberg plateau in Meltina. The base wines come from selected vineyards in South Tyrol, with references to areas such as Terlano, Appiano, Salorno and the Val Venosta, which contribute various aromatic and structural components to the cuvées.
