Winery history Bruno Paillard

Bruno Paillard began as an independent Maison founded by Bruno Paillard. After a period trading in grapes and wines, the Maison was launched in the early 1980s with the aim of prioritizing quality and personal style. It later acquired its first estate vineyards and progressively developed its own vineyard holdings while continuing to purchase selected grapes from the best crus of Champagne.

Production philosophy

Pursuit of purity and quality: exclusive use of the first pressing for many cuvées, extended bottle aging, the disgorgement date printed on each bottle, and viticultural practices focused on sustainability and respect for the soil.

Terroir and vineyards

Based in Reims, the estate has vineyards distributed across Champagne’s classic terroirs. Its parcels include numerous crus, including Grand Cru and Premier Cru, on soils that are predominantly chalky and characteristic of the region.

Awards and recognitions

Editorial accolades for its flagship cuvées: vintages of the prestige cuvée N.P.U. have received high scores from specialist publications in several vintages.
