Winery history Conte Brandolini (Vistorta)

The Vistorta estate is part of the Brandolini family's history, present in these lands since the 15th century. The estate was established in the 19th century by Guido Brandolini. Throughout the 20th century the family transformed the property into a modern winemaking venture: the family villa became the Brandolini family's home in the 1950s and, from the late 1970s, under Brandino Brandolini's direction the winery decisively focused on producing high-quality red wines such as Merlot and on signature labels like Brando.

Production philosophy

An approach based on organic farming and regenerative practices: crop rotation, use of cover crops, and attention to soil fertility. At the winery, techniques that emphasize the expression of the terroir are favored, with natural fermentations in some wines and winemaking practices designed to respect the raw materials and the environment.

Terroir and vineyards

The estate is located in the Friulian countryside: its administrative and historic headquarters are in Vistorta in the municipality of Sacile, and the winery is located in Cordignano. The area is characterized by soils typical of Friuli-Venezia Giulia and by a historic estate with a distinguished park surrounding the family villa.
