Winery history Conti Zecca

The Zecca family has been established in Salento since the 16th century. Agricultural production evolved over time until, in the 1930s, the family began winemaking on-site in Leverano. Today the company comprises several family estates and continues as a family-run operation overseeing the entire production cycle from the vineyard to bottling.

Production philosophy

A territorial approach that prioritizes respect for the soil and the care of the vineyards: winemaking and vineyard practices designed to enhance local pedoclimatic characteristics and to produce both wines for broad distribution and selections in limited releases. The winery also states that it pays attention to sustainable practices and maintains company protocols for agronomic management.

Terroir and vineyards

The wines come from the heart of Salento: vineyards and plots located mainly in the municipalities of Leverano, Veglie and Salice Salentino. The winery manages several family estates scattered throughout the area.

Awards and recognitions
