Winery history Cantina di Soliera

The Cantina di Soliera is part of an interprovincial group led by the Cantina di Limidi. According to the official website, the Limidi facility dates back to 1923, and the Soliera entity was incorporated into the group in 1982. Today the cooperative brings together hundreds of members and preserves historical materials documenting the evolution of the various local entities up to their unification.

Production philosophy

Showcasing the region’s characteristic Lambrusco through the selection of local cru, careful attention to traditional winemaking practices, and respect for the character of the Sorbara grape variety, regarded as a distinctive element of the territory.

Terroir and vineyards

The vineyards lie on the plain north of Modena, between the Panaro and Secchia rivers, enjoying a sunny microclimate and sandy, clay-rich soils that, according to the winery, contribute to the elegance and structure of the Lambrusco produced. The winery selects grapes from several crus in the area to express the local character.
