Winery history Domaine Carrion

According to the technical data sheets published by the distributors, the domaine originated from a property purchased in the 1970s by an enthusiast from Brittany who moved to Chablis. For about thirty years the owner developed the estate and named it "Domaine Carrion" in honor of his grandmother's surname; she was from Burgundy.

Production philosophy

Traditional winemaking designed to preserve the purity of the fruit and the minerality of the terroir: pneumatic pressing upon arrival, fermentation and aging in temperature-controlled stainless steel, and several months on fine lees to add complexity without pronounced oak influence.

Terroir and vineyards

Chablis, vineyards around the commune of La Chapelle-Vaupelteigne and in areas of northern Burgundy characterized by Kimmeridgian soil.
