Winery history Domaine Clarence Dillon

The group's history begins with Clarence Dillon's acquisition of Château Haut-Brion in 1935. Over time the family has expanded its presence by acquiring Château La Mission Haut-Brion and, more recently, Château Quintus, and by pursuing commercial and brand initiatives such as Clarendelle and the new Klara range. The group has also developed hospitality and wine-trade activities, with a Parisian residence that houses the restaurant Le Clarence and the boutique La Cave du Château.

Production philosophy

Promoting the French art de vivre through the preservation of historical heritage, stewardship of the land and the production of premium wines, the group complements this mission with cultural activities and environmental and philanthropic initiatives.

Terroir and vineyards

The main properties and activities are located in the Bordeaux region: the historic crus are situated in the Pessac‑Léognan area and on the Right Bank of Saint‑Émilion.
