Winery history Jacques Busin

The Busin family has been present in the region for generations; vineyard ownership dates back centuries, and the commercialization of their Champagne began in the early 20th century. The house reached its fourth generation under the leadership of Emmanuel Busin.

Production philosophy

Champagne production focused on full control of the supply chain, careful attention to individual crus, and the use of viticultural practices aimed at sustainability to preserve the identity of the cuvées and the consistency of the house style.

Terroir and vineyards

The vineyards are located in the Montagne de Reims, primarily in the Grand Cru villages of Verzenay, Verzy, Sillery, Ambonnay and Mailly-Champagne. The limestone terroir and slope exposures are harnessed to achieve full ripeness of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
