Winery Montaia

Società Agricola Montaia operates on the hills a few kilometres from the Adriatic coast, with a recently established winery equipped with modern facilities. The estate values Romagna tradition, particularly Sangiovese di Romagna, combining contemporary winemaking methods with a careful presentation of the bottles.

Combining local expertise and attentive vineyard care with modern winemaking technology to produce quality wines: hand harvesting, control of production stages in a temperature-controlled environment, and attention to label design as part of the product's identity.

Vineyards situated in a small hilly valley just outside Cesena, with a microclimate moderated by sea breezes; production focused on the terroirs of Romagna and the Rubicone/Romagna appellation.

Among the recognitions received: Berliner Silver Award for the Cabernet Sauvignon from the Tonino Guerra line; mentions and ratings in the Yearbook of the Best Italian Wines 2021 for labels such as Cabernets and other wines from the winery.
