Winery history Sabbionare

The winery was born from the passion of a local family: a small vineyard donated by Giuseppe Paolucci to the next generation was the starting point for the company's development. From the transformation of this rural operation a commercial production was established which, with the arrival of the new generation, has continued to expand while maintaining its ties to the local area. The company website states the business has been operating "since 1999."

Production philosophy

The estate seeks to enhance the character of the terroir and the Verdicchio grape, combining traditional practices with targeted winemaking choices to convey freshness, sapidity and longevity in the wines.

Terroir and vineyards

The estate is located in Montecarotto, in the heart of the Castelli di Jesi area. The vineyards are planted on mixed soils with a predominance of sand; the estate sits at approximately 388 metres above sea level — conditions the estate describes as favourable for the production of Verdicchio and quality red wines.
