Winery history Saint-Julien

Viticulture in the Saint-Julien area has developed over centuries, gaining increasing renown from the modern era onward. The communal appellation was officially recognized by decree on 14 November 1936; over time the area has become home to numerous châteaux classified in 1855.

Production philosophy

Production aims to express the balance of power and finesse typical of the Rive Gauche: age-worthy wines crafted from blends dominated by Cabernet Sauvignon, with careful attention to ripening and the harmony between structure and aromatics.

Terroir and vineyards

Located on the left bank of the Gironde estuary, between the appellations of Margaux and Pauillac, the area is characterized by gravelly croupes and alluvial soils with good drainage. The climate is temperate oceanic, influenced by its proximity to the Gironde.

Awards and recognitions

High concentration of Crus Classés from the 1855 Classification.
