Winery history Tolloy

The name Tolloy is a tribute to Johann Tolloy, Salorno’s longtime innkeeper: the collection evokes the local food and wine tradition and the area’s long viticultural vocation. Today the line is the result of a commercial and technical collaboration between Gruppo Mezzacorona and Cantina di Salorno, who created the Tolloy range to bring the wines of Alto Adige to national and international markets.

Production philosophy

To bottle the expressiveness of the lower Adige Valley by combining modern winemaking practices with the characteristics of the indigenous and international grape varieties typical of the Alto Adige region, in order to produce wines of elegant style and ready-to-drink character.

Terroir and vineyards

Vineyards and microclimates in the Salorno area and the lower Adige Valley in Alto Adige / Südtirol — areas sheltered by the Alpine ranges that promote diurnal temperature swings and the aromatic ripening typical of this appellation.
