Borsci Distillery

Originally from the Caucasus, the Borsci family decided to move to Albania following the political upheavals. From here, a nucleus of the family later decides to move again and lands in Puglia, to be precise a San Marzano di San Giuseppe.

It is 1840 when Giuseppe, the progenitor of the Borsci family, perfects the recipe of a liqueur inherited from his ancestors, thus giving life to an extraordinary Elixir still appreciated and known even outside the national territory.

Giuseppe Borsci decides to put the wording on the label Oriental specialty, together with the double-headed eagle, symbol of Albania, and call its creation Elisir S. Marzano.

Even today, all Borsci spirits follow simple but fundamental principles: each ingredient is carefully selected from the best that nature offers.
