Peloni Distillery
The history of the company is closely linked with the figure of Francesco Peloni, a famous local pharmacist, who in the second half of the 1800s decided to create infusions based on native plants originating in the area for healing purposes.
An ancient recipe, of which only four herbs have been made known: gentian, juniper, absinthe and yarrow moscata and the others still kept secret and jealously guarded by the Peloni family who, following the spirit, carries on the tradition by combining love for the profession and deep spirit of experimentation.
Over time, the Bràulio liqueurs have received the well-deserved fame that make them renowned not only in Italy but throughout the world, handing down ancient legends and traditions that find their production in the Peloni Cellars, which expand like an underground labyrinth in the center of Bormio, in Valtellina.
