French producer of Cognac, Pineau des Charentes and liqueurs. Its signature product is Belle de Brillet, a Williams pear and Cognac liqueur.

Producer history Maison J.R. Brillet

The Brillet family’s origins date back to 1656. In 1850, Vivien Brillet established the trading house, distillery and cellars in Graves-Saint-Amant. Belle de Brillet was created in 1985 by Jean-Louis Brillet and named after his wife Isabelle. In 2020, Maison Brillet joined the Rémy Cointreau Group.

Production philosophy

The house focuses on terroir, time and craftsmanship, combining natural ingredients with traditional methods. Belle de Brillet is made without added flavours, colouring, caramel or neutral alcohol.

Territory

The house is based in Graves-Saint-Amant, on the banks of the Charente, in the Cognac region. Belle de Brillet combines two terroirs: Williams pears harvested and distilled in Anjou and Cognac produced in the Cognac region.
