Producer history Sempe'

Founded in 1934 by Abel Sempé in Aignan (Gers), the maison Sempé developed as a négociant specialized in Armagnac; Abel Sempé was also a public figure (resistance member and later senator of the Gers). Over the years the brand expanded its collection of vintages and, since 2002, has been associated with a regional wine group (cited as Groupe Viticole/Gerland in commercial profiles), while maintaining selection, ageing and bottling activities.
