Albarara is an Albana Secco, one of the native vines of Romagna. Tenuta Santa Lucia has been cultivating this vine in Roversano, in the province of Forlì-Cesena, since 2004. This company, in fact, aims to cultivate only native vines of the region, so as not to damage the calcareous soil typical of this area . Tenuta Santa Lucia collects the white berries of Albana by hand and carries out a careful selection both on the plants and in the cellar. Subsequently, the grapes are fermented spontaneously with indigenous yeasts. The refinement takes place for 12 months in steel vats on its lees and a further 12 months in the bottle.

The Albarara appears to the eye with a brilliant golden yellow. Its bouquet is reminiscent of yellow flowers, such as broom and wild chamomile. On the palate it is dry, but balanced.

This wine is perfect with fish-based dishes, cheeses and white meats.
