Amaro Sibilla from Varnelli Distillery is a true homage to the herbal traditions of the Marche region, offering a rich and complex taste experience rooted in artisanal methods passed down through generations. Produced in a small family-owned distillery founded in 1868, this amaro is crafted through the slow maceration in pure alcohol of various herbs, roots, and spices collected from the Apennine mountains, followed by careful aging in barrels.

The aromatic profile of Amaro Sibilla is distinctly characterized by notes of gentian roots, cinchona, and anise, beautifully integrated with hints of roasted coffee and cocoa. On the palate, it starts sweet, surprisingly transforming into a bitter and persistent finish, with an echo of sweet spices and a subtle smokiness from the aging process.

Ideal as a post-lunch or dinner digestive, Amaro Sibilla is best appreciated served neat at room temperature, possibly accompanied by a slice of orange or lemon to enhance its complex aromas. Its versatility also makes it an excellent ingredient for innovative cocktails, where its aromatic qualities can truly shine and add a unique depth.

This 1.0L bottle represents not only an excellent choice for lovers of traditional amari but also a piece of Italian history bottled, celebrating the authenticity and timeless taste of Marche's artisanal beverages.
