Amfora Rebula della Cantina Erzetiĉ is a white wine born in the heart of the Carso wine region, a border area between Italy and Slovenia known for its soil rich in calcareous elements and its unique microclimate. The main grape variety used is Rebula, an indigenous variety that produces fresh and aromatic wines. The uniqueness of this interpretation is the aging in terracotta amphora, an ancient technique that enhances the purity of the fruit and imparts a velvety texture, as well as a slightly oxidative and mineral character. In the glass, it shows a pale golden color and intense aromas of white flowers, white-fleshed fruit, and Mediterranean herb notes. On the palate, it is balanced, with a pleasant sapidity and a persistent finish that recalls the stone and soil of its origin. Ideal paired with blue fish dishes or fresh cheeses, it expresses best the deep connection with the Carso territory.
