This Trebbiano Riserva from Cirelli, aged in an amphora, presents a surprisingly rich profile for the type: on the nose it shows ripe citrus peel, faded white flowers, toasted almond and light hints of dried fruit and beeswax. The aromatic framework is supported by mineral tension and a measured oxidative note that adds depth without weighing it down. The overall impression is more vertical than broad, with a finesse that invites contemplative tasting.

On the palate it reveals body and structure: acidity keeps the sip lively while salinity and an underlying tannic texture provide persistence and grip. Balanced and dry, it develops with citrus echoes and saline notes on the finish. It pairs well with flavorful coastal dishes, substantial white meats or aged cheeses; it can also stand up to mushroom-based preparations or structured risottos. Serve cool but not cold and consider a short period of aeration to appreciate its aromatic layers.
