The Barbaresco DOCG 2021 produced by Ceretto represents an excellence from Piedmont, a region notoriously renowned for its structured and long-aging red wines. Born from the mists of the Langhe hills, this wine is the result of a careful selection of the best Nebbiolo grapes, which, after a traditional fermentation, age in oak barrels for about 12 months.

Visually, Ceretto's Barbaresco presents itself with an intense ruby red color, with garnet reflections that become more pronounced with aging. On the nose, it offers a complex bouquet, where notes of ripe red fruits, sweet spices, vanilla, and light hints of rose and tar are intertwined. On the palate, the wine is rich and velvety, with an excellent tannic structure that promises excellent aging. Aromas of cherry, tobacco, and incense blend into a long and persistent finish.

This Barbaresco is ideal for accompanying rich and structured dishes, such as braised meats, roasts, and aged cheeses. Its elegance and complexity also make it perfect as a wine for meditation. It is recommended to decant it at least one hour before serving to enhance all its nuances.
