The Barolo DOCG "San Giovanni" in Magnum format, presented in a prestigious wooden case, is a refined expression of the craftsmanship of Gianfranco Alessandria's winery. This wine represents the quintessence of the Barolo region, renowned for its robust and long-lived wines.

Exclusively produced with meticulously selected Nebbiolo grapes from vineyards located in the acclaimed Monforte d'Alba area, the Barolo "San Giovanni" undergoes a precise vinification process. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures, followed by a long maturation in oak barrels, which helps to enhance the wine’s aromatic and tannic complexity.

The color of Barolo "San Giovanni" is intensely garnet with reflections that tend to become amber with aging. On the nose, it reveals a complex and enveloping bouquet ranging from ripe red fruits such as cherry and plum, to spicy notes of tobacco and black pepper, with hints of dried flowers and leather.

On the palate, the wine presents a powerful yet elegant structure, balanced by good acidity and robust but finely polished tannins. The persistence of the taste is remarkable, leaving a long aromatic trail that invites another sip.

Ideal for accompanying rich and flavorful dishes such as braised meats, game, and aged cheeses, the Barolo "San Giovanni" Magnum proves to be a wine with great aging potential, improving with years in the cellar. Its presentation in a wooden case also makes it an excellent option for a meaningful gift for fine wine enthusiasts.
