The Barolo Fossati by Roberto Voerzio is an elegant expression of the renowned Barolo denomination, the beating heart of the Piedmontese Langhe. Produced with selected Nebbiolo grapes from the Fossati cru, this wine stands out for its complex and refined structure. The aging takes place in large wooden barrels and barriques, providing aromatic depth without compromising the typical freshness of the grape variety. On the nose, it opens with notes of withered rose, cherry in spirit, and sweet spices, while on the palate it reveals silky tannins and a perfect balance between power and finesse. The historical vintage tells of a devoted territory, with soils rich in limestone marl that offer minerality and longevity to the wine. Ideal paired with red meat dishes, braised meats, and aged cheeses, this Barolo Fossati fully expresses Roberto Voerzio’s mastery in enhancing one of the most noble and legendary Italian grape varieties.
