We discuss an Italian icon: Barolo, which finds its excellence in the Montezemolo cellar. From the vineyard lands exclusively exposed to the south, high-quality productions and harmonious ripening are born.
Clear garnet colour, it smells of cherries in alcohol and withered flowers, licorice, leather, graphite and carob. On the palate we find structure and warmth, softness and fine tannin, punctual and balanced, it closes long on spicy references.
If we want to combine it with a meal, then it must be eaten up in the mountains, after a long walk; spearing on a wild fork, or tasting the tastiest cheeses made according to old tradition. And so you will savor not just a wine, but a History.
