The Brunello di Montalcino DOCG 2018 from Castello Banfi, labeled as Balthazar, embodies the purest essence of Sangiovese Grosso grown on the Tuscan hills. Coming from an exceptional terroir, characterized by calcareous-clayey soils and an ideal microclimate, this wine expresses extraordinary elegance and power. The aging takes place in large oak casks, which confer a soft and enveloping structure while maintaining freshness and aromatic complexity intact.

In the glass, it presents a beautiful intense ruby color, accompanied by aromas of ripe red fruits, spicy notes, and delicate hints of tobacco and vanilla. On the palate, it stands out for a perfect balance between silky tannins and vibrant acidity, providing a long aromatic persistence. Ideal to pair with game dishes, grilled red meats, or aged cheeses, it is a Brunello that enhances the typicality of Montalcino with class and personality.
