The Cahors La Marguerite from Domaine Cosse & Maisonneuve represents a distinguished example of wine from the Cahors region, renowned for its robust reds. Produced with Malbec grapes, a variety historically tied to this area in the southwest of France, this wine is a jewel of complexity and intensity.

The vinification of Cahors La Marguerite follows traditional methods that enhance the natural characteristics of Malbec, resulting in a wine with a deep purplish, almost black coloration. On the nose, vibrant aromas of black fruits, such as blackberry and currant, emerge, beautifully integrated with spicy notes and a slight hint of vanilla, deriving from maturation in barrique.

On the palate, Cahors La Marguerite exhibits a well-balanced tannic structure that promises excellent aging potential. The fruit aromas linger, enriched by a refined aftertaste of chocolate and tobacco, leading to a long and pleasantly persistent finish.

Ideal when paired with red meat dishes, game, and aged cheeses, Cahors La Marguerite is a premium choice for lovers of rich and structured wines, who seek a bottle capable of evolving magnificently over time.
