The story
The Vazart family has been growing grapes for generations in the Chouilly area. Commercial bottling began with Jacques Vazart, with the first releases dating back to 1954. The Coquart surname was joined to Vazart following the marriage of Louis Vazart to Marie Coquart, from which the current name derives. Management has been passed down through several generations to Jean‑Pierre Vazart, who developed and modernised the family estate.
Production philosophy
Emphasize the vineyard's role and the quality of the grapes: manual work in the vineyard, separate vinification by parcel to preserve the expression of the terroir, and a combination of tradition with technical innovations. Strong environmental commitment evidenced by certifications and the conversion to organic viticulture.
Terroir and vineyards
