Champagne Extra Brut - Maison Burtin is born in the prestigious Champagne region, an emblematic territory for the production of excellent sparkling wines. This champagne is made with a careful selection of traditional grape varieties, such as Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier, which give balance and finesse to the product. The classic bottle fermentation method guarantees a fine and persistent perlage, while the prolonged aging on the lees enhances complexity and aromatic richness.

On the nose, it opens with notes of bread crust, fresh citrus, and delicate floral hints, intertwined with a mineral character typical of the Champagne terroir. On the palate, the low Extra Brut dosage accentuates freshness and sapidity, making this champagne ideal to accompany raw fish dishes, shellfish, and soft cheeses. A refined experience that celebrates the tradition and craftsmanship of Maison Burtin.

Winery history
Founded by Gaston Burtin in 1933 and established at the historic Château des Archers in Épernay, the Maison built its reputation through commercial activity and close ties with local growers. In the decades that followed, the Maison consolidated supply relations with numerous partners and set aside some cuvées for a select circle, which more recently led to the decision to publicly showcase these bottlings under the "Hommage à Gaston Burtin" range.
Production philosophy
La Maison focuses on a rigorous selection of grapes and extended cellar aging: the identity of the wines is based on respect for the founder's tradition, collaborative work with its grower partners, and an approach that prioritizes balance, freshness and precision in winemaking.
Terroir and vineyards
Based in Épernay, the wines are sourced from parcels in several Champagne villages and reflect the characteristic soils of the Champagne region.
