More questions

The Cidre Equinoxe Demi-sec is a premium selection that captures the essence of cider-making tradition with a touch of balanced sweetness. Crafted with a rigorous selection of fresh apples, the Equinoxe offers an aromatic bouquet where the fresh scent of freshly picked apples prevails, enriched by subtle floral notes and a slight hint of spices. On the palate, it is caressed by moderate sweetness, expertly balanced by the natural acidity of the apples, which imparts a lively freshness to the product.

Its fine and persistent effervescence adds a dimension of elegance and festivity, making it ideal for accompanying special moments or enhancing light dishes like fruit salads or not overly sweet desserts. Serve it slightly chilled to best highlight its qualities. With its balance of sweetness and freshness, the Equinoxe Demi-sec is a simple yet highly impactful choice for those seeking a superior quality cider.

The story
Julien Thurel began varietal research in 2009 and started cidric production in 2012. The project focused on rediscovering and planting local and traditional varieties of the northern Loire, aiming to produce cidre, poiré and cormé with gastronomic character.
Ageing
Bottle aging with a minimum rest of one year for the youngest cuvées; many cuvées are long-aged in cellar before remuage and dégorgement. Strategy aimed at enhancing maturation and the natural aromatic complexity of the fruit.
