The Clos Vougeot Grand Cru from Domaine d'Eugénie is born in the heart of Burgundy, in one of the most renowned and historic areas for the production of excellent Pinot Noir. This Cru extends over a unique terroir, characterized by a shallow limestone-clay soil that gives the wine structure and minerality. Benefiting from a strict and meticulous aging in oak barrels, the wine develops intense aromas of ripe red fruits, subtle spices, and a delicate hint of undergrowth that evolves with aging. On the palate, it is harmonious, with elegant tannins and vibrant freshness, offering an experience of great balance and persistence. Ideal when paired with red meat dishes, game, or aged cheeses, this Clos Vougeot expresses all the nobility and complexity expected from a Grand Cru of the Côte de Nuits. A masterpiece of territory and winemaking skill.
