Distillation
Distillation from cane juice (rhum agricole) with Barbet-type copper columns for most releases; pot still/copper pot for rare batches or limited editions.
Ageing
Aging in oak casks (French and American); some expressions undergo double maturation / cask finish (ex-bourbon, ex-Pedro Ximénez, ex-Sauternes). Some spiced rums are infused/matured in oak casks for a period indicated by the house.
