The Cognac Napoleon Grande Champagne by Paul Giraud is a distinguished distillate originating from the renowned Grande Champagne area, considered the "noble zone" of the Cognac region. This unique terroir, characterized by limestone soil and a temperate climate, imparts to the grapes a distinctive aromatic profile and a refined structure. The product is born from a careful selection of Ugni Blanc wines, the primary grape variety for Cognac production, which undergo traditional distillation in copper stills.
The aging, meticulously carried out in oak barrels, grants this Napoleon an elegant balance between fragrant notes and a complex depth. On the nose, there are hints of white flowers, vanilla, and a slight spice, which lead to a soft, enveloping, and persistent palate, with pleasant hints of dried fruit and honey. Its velvety texture and fine tannins make it ideal to enjoy neat, optionally accompanied by a cigar or delicate desserts.
A distillate that highlights the artisanal mastery and exclusive character of Grande Champagne, representing a true symbol of Cognac elegance.
