The Franciacorta Brut DOCG produced by the renowned La Montina winery is a splendid example of excellence in the production of Italian traditional method sparkling wines. This sparkling wine expresses a distinctive character, the result of a careful blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Nero, and Pinot Bianco, rigorously selected from the best vineyards in the Franciacorta area.

La Montina's Franciacorta Brut DOCG displays a bright straw-yellow color, enriched by a fine and persistent perlage that invites tasting. On the nose, it seduces with a complex bouquet where you can perceive notes of fresh citrus, green apple, and a light touch of yeast and toasted bread, typical of long bottle maturation.

On the palate, the wine is elegant and balanced. Its lively acidity harmoniously contrasts the structure, while flavors of fresh fruit mingle with delicate hints of bread crust and almond. The finish is clean and refreshing, with a persistent sensation of minerality that invites another sip.

This Franciacorta Brut is perfect as an aperitif, but it also has the structure to accompany light starters, fish dishes or poultry. Its versatility makes it ideal for any occasion, from casual dinners to more refined events.

La Montina, with its long history and dedication to quality, has created a Franciacorta Brut that faithfully represents the spirit and terroir of one of Italy's most prestigious sparkling wine regions. Each sip is a celebration of Italian winemaking art.

Winery history
La Montina was established as the Bozza family's winemaking enterprise: its official founding dates to 1987 and was carried out by three brothers from the family — Vittorio, Gian Carlo and Alberto. The company developed around the historic residence Villa Baiana, gradually expanding its winery facilities, wine shop and a contemporary art museum/gallery serving the public and events.
Production philosophy
La Montina interprets wine as an expression of the land and of art: vineyard and cellar work follows the Traditional Method for Franciacorta DOCG, with attention to grape quality, to the transformation of the vineyard, and to an approach that combines production, hospitality and a cultural project.
Terroir and vineyards
Located on the northeastern edge of Franciacorta, the estate benefits from a microclimate influenced by the nearby Lake Iseo and a morainic amphitheatre. The vineyards are planted on hills with calcareous-loamy soils and exposures favorable to the area's traditional metodo classico sparkling wine production.
