As can be understood from the name, Friulano is the wine that best characterizes Friuli Venezia Giulia. For this reason, Tenuta Luisa inserts its Friulano Isonzo in the collection of autochthonous wines, i.e. wines that best represent the flavors of this region. The white berries of this vine have been cultivated since 1771 and have always been appreciated by everyone, not just Friulians. This wine is made through cold skin maceration, static decantation and fermentation in steel vats. To obtain the excellent final result, the wine is left to rest for 6 months on the lees and for a further 2 months in the bottle.
Its intense straw yellow will immediately strike the eye, while the nose will be overwhelmed by a floral and fruity scent with traces of bitter almond. In the mouth it is typically dry, but at the same time harmonious and velvety.
Friulano Isonzo can be sipped while eating fresh cheeses, cured meats or while making an appetizer.
