Garganega is a typical wine of the Euganean Hills, a hilly area in the Veneto region between Padua and Vicenza. These reliefs are of volcanic origin and are particularly rich in minerals, which makes them perfect for growing vines. Le Volpi & Monte Fasolo cultivates the white berries of Garganega in the southern area of the Euganean Hills, in Baone. After being harvested, the latter undergo a vinification process with a short cold maceration and fermentation at a controlled temperature and refinement, to obtain the final wine.
Garganega is a wine with a magnificent straw yellow colour. The nose is fresh, with notes that recall the flowers and fruits of nature. When you drink it, however, you will be struck by its intense and balanced taste.
This white wine is perfect to combine with fish and cheese dishes.
