The Grappa Frescobaldi Aged is a distillate that captures the essence and tradition of the Frescobaldi family, renowned for their winemaking history in Tuscany. Presented in an elegant 50cl package accompanied by specific glasses for grappa, this aged selection offers a unique tasting experience.
The aging process of the grappa takes place in oak barrels, which imparts complex aromatic notes and a seductive amber color. On the nose, there are hints of ripe fruit and sweet spices, evolving into nuances of vanilla and toasted wood. On the palate, this grappa shows a perfect balance between the robustness of the alcohol and the sweetness of the wood, with a long and persistent finish that leaves traces of chocolate and coffee.
Ideal to serve at room temperature or slightly chilled, this aged Frescobaldi grappa is perfect as a digestif after a meal, or as a refined gift for enthusiasts and collectors. The presentation in a tin with glasses makes it a product of great appeal, ideal for special occasions.

Distillation
Distillation from pomace; for CastelGiocondo pot distillation (distillation in a discontinuous alembic) is indicated. Some labels (e.g. Luce) are produced in collaboration with Jacopo Poli.
Ageing
Some labels are clear and unaged; others undergo wood ageing (for example in French oak barriques for Grappa Luce and the aged versions).
